These iMovies were created as an interdisciplinary project for elementary social studies and science preservice teachers. The students were instructed to create an iMovie about New England area tribes who lived around Lowell hundreds of years ago. Acting as archaeologists, they were asked to infer about the life of the Pennacook and Abenaki using scientific methods. The students reconstructed the life of these Native Americans by sifting through artifacts in a simulated archaeological dig.
